CFA Society Bahrain Hosts Seminar on AI’s Growing Role in Investment Decision-Making

CFA Society Bahrain hosted a specialized seminar titled “AI and Investments: The New Alpha”, bringing together members of the Society, professionals from the financial and banking sectors, and investors for a timely discussion on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the investment landscape.

The session explored the expanding use of AI in investment decision-making, market analysis, risk assessment and the pursuit of alpha. Discussions focused on how advanced technologies are moving beyond theoretical applications to become practical tools that support investment professionals.

The event featured Dr. Jassim Haji, President of the International Group of Artificial Intelligence, as keynote speaker, alongside CA Harpreet Singh, an international trainer and speaker. Together, they shared insights into the practical impact of AI across credit and investment markets, including its role in enhancing data analysis, strengthening risk management frameworks and supporting more informed decisions.

Led by the Society’s Education Committee, and under the direct supervision of Committee Member Mr. Bader Al Ameer, the initiative reflects the Society’s commitment to building capabilities among professionals in Bahrain and keeping them informed of the technology trends that are redefining asset management and investment globally.
