Gulf Air Celebrates Eid Al-Adha in Bangkok
Reflecting Growing Bahraini–Thai Partnership
Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, hosted a special Eid Al-Adha celebration organized by Gulf Air, attended by His Excellency Ambassador Khalil Yaqoub Al Khayat, alongside Bahraini businessman Khalid Ali Al Ameen, His Excellency Ambassador Sumate Chulajata, and Gulf Air Regional Manager Mr. Rashid Al Qaoud.
Attendees emphasized that Bahraini–Thai relations are witnessing growing momentum across the economic, tourism, and investment sectors, driven by a shared commitment to expanding cooperation between the public and private sectors and enhancing business and travel connectivity between the two countries.
Participants highlighted that Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening regional and international air connectivity, contributing to increased commercial and tourism activity while reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a regional hub open to promising Asian markets.
The event also reflected a unique blend of diplomatic and economic engagement, underscoring the importance of economic diplomacy in building bridges between business communities and opening new avenues for cooperation in tourism, logistics, and investment sectors.
This gathering comes at a time when the Kingdom of Bahrain is actively expanding its economic presence in Asian markets, leveraging its international partnerships and the role of its national institutions and strategic companies in supporting economic openness and cross-border collaboration.
