The Education and Training Committee at the Bahrain Chamber held an open meeting with representatives of private schools and the Ministry of Education, in the presence of the Chamber’s Vice Treasurer and Head of the Steering Committee, Waleed Kanoo, Assistant Undersecretary for Strategies and Performance Dr. Sana Saeed Abdullah Al Haddad, and Director of the Licensing and Early Education Follow-up Directorate Lulwa Ghasan Al-Muhanna. The meeting focused on mechanisms to advance the education and training sector in ways that enrich the overall educational process.

The session featured an open discussion on the latest developments in the Kingdom’s education sector, guided by strategic visions aligned with national development plans under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Kanoo expressed his pride in the Committee’s efforts and its role in enabling private schools to contribute effectively to shaping the future of education, emphasizing the wider impact on all sectors, including the economy. He highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to fostering cooperation between private schools and the Ministry of Education to upgrade the educational process and provide an advanced learning environment that meets students’ needs and keeps pace with global developments.

He noted that in line with the Chamber’s 30th session program, emphasis is placed on building infrastructure that responds to rapid future changes, particularly technological infrastructure, and the implementation of a comprehensive national strategy for artificial intelligence. Strengthening ties with private schools, he said, is essential to integrating these transformations into the educational system, thereby raising quality standards and preparing future generations with a clear vision and sense of responsibility toward their nation.
