Hilton Bahrain, renowned for its unique and creative campaigns that highlight the Kingdom’s vibrant art community, has launched its latest initiative: an art competition dedicated to emerging local artists. Staying true to the hotel’s vision of turning its spaces into platforms for creativity and cultural expression, Hilton Bahrain received submissions from 16 talented artists across the Kingdom, each bringing their own perspective, story, and vision to life.
This initiative is part of Hilton Bahrain’s broader commitment to nurturing and celebrating the local arts scene. Over the years, the hotel has consistently embraced collaborations with artists, fashion designers and various social groups that showcases Bahrain’s culture, creativity, and community. By opening its doors to new and rising talents, Hilton Bahrain aims to give young artists an avenue to showcase their work in front of a wide audience.
From the 16 entries received, three winners will be selected by a distinguished panel of judges and recognized for their creativity and artistic excellence. These winners will also receive exclusive prizes from Hilton Bahrain and its partners: Artful, Union Stationaries and Sportshub. Most importantly, they will have the extraordinary opportunity to immortalize their artwork on Hilton Bahrain’s walls, leaving a lasting imprint on the property while symbolizing the hotel’s deep-rooted bond with the art community.
The competition is being evaluated by a respected panel of judges from Bahrain’s art scene: Ms. Rasha Al Mannai, a Bahraini artist and cultural advocate, Ms. Samar Busheri, Bahrain’s first female graffiti artist and Dr. Muneera Alsubaiee, an esteemed critic and art enthusiast.
“As a supporter of local arts, we want to first and foremost put the spotlight on emerging artists in the Kingdom,” said Tamer Farouk, General Manager of Hilton Bahrain. “We are truly in awe of the beautiful artworks we have received, and it is an honour to have three of the 16 entries immortalized on our walls—symbolizing our commitment and bond with the art community.”
The winners will be officially announced during a special unveiling event hosted at Hilton Bahrain on the 30th September. The celebration will not only recognize the winning artists but also provide a platform for the wider community to engage with the works, meet the artists, and take part in the hotel’s continuing journey of blending art, hospitality, and culture.
