Minister of Industry and Commerce Visits Al-Taawon Foodstuff Factory in Salman Industrial City

H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, visited Al-Taawon Foodstuff Factory in Salman Industrial City as part of efforts to support national industrial projects and boost production and exports.

He reviewed the factory’s operations, which plays a key role in food manufacturing and packaging. The Minister praised the factory’s contribution to food security and its support of Bahraini exports, particularly to Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.
He noted that the visit aligns with the Industrial Sector Strategy (2022–2026), which aims to support local industry and attract investment, helping grow the national economy. The factory opened in 2023 and covers about 11,961 square meters.
