The Public Prosecution has arrested a woman who provided cosmetic medical services, including fillers and botox, without proper licensing in a hotel in Bahrain.

The woman, who also promoted these services on Instagram, was apprehended by law enforcement.

During her arrest, a significant quantity of unlicensed and unregistered medications was seized.

The Public Prosecution initiated a thorough investigation, revealing her involvement in unauthorised medicine, pharmacy, and other healthcare services.

The confiscated medications served as evidence of her storage, possession, and importation of drugs without legal authorization. She was also charged with using publications that misled the public, creating the false impression that she possessed the qualifications to practice medicine.

The woman has been remanded in custody as a precautionary measure, and the Public Prosecution is pursuing further inquiries to bring the case before a criminal court for trial.
