The High Appeals Court is hearing an appeal against three men and a woman serving a five-year jail term for drug trafficking in Bahrain.

The case involves two Bahrainis, one Asian, and an Arab woman. The suspects were apprehended by the Ministry of Interior's anti-drug department after a tip-off and undercover operation.

An agent in plain clothes arranged to buy shabu for BD80, leading to his arrest. During interrogation, the man disclosed information about receiving drugs from the Arab woman and cooperated with the police to track her down.

He then proposed to buy 50 grams of shabu for BD600, leading to the woman's agreement to deliver the substance.

The second and third defendants were caught red-handed, leading to their arrest. The High Appeals Court will examine the case during the hearing to overturn their sentences.
