Bahrain Finance Minister affirms commitment to priority sectors at Riyadh conference

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, yesterday reaffirmed Bahrain's commitment to promoting priority sectors through policies and programmes.
During the financial sector conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he emphasised Bahrain's dedication to developing financial technology, innovation, and digital transformation to support financial and banking institutions.
The session, titled "Shaping the Future of Global Fund Flows," included participation from Dr Mohamed Maait, the Minister of Finance of Egypt, and Giancarlo Giorgetti, the Minister of Economy and Finance of Italy.
The minister highlighted the importance of having developmental institutions that encourage innovation and support capital funds to achieve the desired economic growth and financial sustainability.
