HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa presented Elizabeth with two purebred Arabian horses at the 2013 Royal Windsor Horse Show.
The Queen was presented with two Bahraini Arabians, in recognition of her efforts to promote Bahraini-British relations and bolster deep-rooted historic cooperation.
The famed Bahraini purebred Arabian horses, rarely found outside the Kingdom, have been preserved for years by the rulers of Bahrain, the Al Khalifa dynasty.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented the Queen with the Royal Team gift of a model miniature carriage, driven by Arabian horses, along with an artwork featuring Shaikh Salman and Windsor Forts linked by a genuine Bahraini sword.
