Explosion targets Bahraini cops
A terrorist explosion targeted a police patrol in the Capital Governorate yesterday night. No one was injured in the incident, according to officials.
The Interior Ministry confirmed on its official Twitter page “an explosion occurred while a police patrol was passing through the Shaikh Salman Highway near Al Salihiya area.” The Ministry added, “No injuries were reported.
” Eyewitnesses confirmed that the area was cordoned by security forces. “Traffic was diverted through alternative routes,” they informed. No further information was available.
