BCICAI’s flagship event to be organised on Oct 30, 31

Bahrain Chapter of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI)’s flagship event titled “CA’s – fostering growth and good governance” will be held over two days on October 30 and 31 at Diplomat Radisson Hotel.

Held under the Patronage of Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, the two-day conference will see experts in the field of Banking, Insurance and Finance and Corporate leaders from Bahrain, India and GCC share insights with over 400 participating delegates.

Chairperson of BCICAI, CA Kapil Batra, said, “For any organisation, the essence of sustainable growth is built on the foundation of good governance with strong moral and ethical values. Strong ethics and values are part of our DNA, which makes us, Chartered Accountants, an invaluable tool for any society.”

“Hence, it is our duty that we imagine a better future; innovate to ensure sustainable growth and inspire future generation to achieve the pinnacle of success. It is not done at the cost of our ethics and values as growth that is not supported by good governance is like a weak twig,” he added.

He further stated that CAs should always uphold the prestige of the profession and never compromise on their integrity and values. The event is slated to be an ideal platform to exchange views and get insights into governance framework of public sector and private entities.
