Strengthening regional ties

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met with top leaders of the region on the sidelines of the Middle East Green Initiative Summit.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister held talks with the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, HH Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, HH Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

They discussed deep-rooted bilateral relations and ways to further strengthen them at all levels, and the importance of the Middle East Green Initiative Summit to ensure regional climate security and enhance the quality of life for current and future generations.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the strength of bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE, which continue to receive the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of building on past achievements and expanding cooperation between Bahrain and the UAE at all levels to benefit the two countries and their people.

HH Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, for his efforts to further bilateral relations between the two countries and their peoples across various fields to serve their common interests.

HRH Prince Salman highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Kuwait, which continues to receive the support of His Majesty King Hamad and the Amir of Kuwait, HH Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

His Royal Highness noted the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, providing opportunities that benefit both countries and their peoples.

He also highlighted the strength of relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, which are based on solid foundations of joint cooperation.

His Royal Highness noted the importance of furthering bilateral partnership, particularly within the economic and investment sectors in line with joint agreements, to benefit both countries and their peoples.

Prime Minister Khan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and highlighted his continued support to furthering bilateral ties, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
