Bahraini claims he was approached by Qatar for spying

The Anti-Cyber Crime Department at the Ministry of Interior has opened an investigation into a video clip alleging Qatar of interfering in Bahrain’s internal affairs.
The viral clip featuring Makki Ali Kwaid, a Bahraini citizen native of Sitra alleges that Qatari security tried to recruit him.
The incident, according to him, occurred after Qatari security arrested him and confiscated his boat.
He claims that Qatar released him from captivity in exchange for information on Bahraini security services in the Sitra region.
Ali Kwaid also claims that he received a monthly salary of 10 thousand Qatari riyals.
Anti-Cyber Crime Department officials after noticing the clip summoned Makki Ali Kwaid to hear his account of the incident, which if proved is a dangerous interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom.
