HM King issues decree restructuring Interior Ministry
MANAMA
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree 65/2020, amending some provisions of Decree 69/2004 on re-structuring the Interior Ministry.
Under the decree, a new clause (N’18) was added to Article (1) of Decree 69/2004 on re-structuring the Interior Ministry, as follows:
The National Cybersecurity Centre includes Chief Executive Officer (with the rank of Undersecretary), who is followed by:-
- Deputy CEO for Cyber Operations (with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary), who is in charge of:

- The Directorate of Cyber Protection.
- The Directorate of National Response.

- The Directorate of Coordination and Analysis.
- The Directorate of Support and Computer Operations.
- The Directorate of Security Systems Development.
- The Directorate Follow-up and Education.
- The Directorate of Cyber Policies.”
The Interior Minister shall implement the provisions of the decree, which takes effect after its publication in the Official Gazette.
