Bahrain welcomes ruling in assassination of Lebanon's Hariri
Bahrain has welcomed the verdict of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon on the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, whose life was claimed in 2005, along with 21 others during a cowardly terrorist act carried out by Hezbollah.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed yesterday that the ruling of the inter- national tribunal clearly established the involvement of Hezbollah operatives in this heinous crime, which destabilized security and stability and caused chaos in brotherly Lebanon.
The ministry emphasized the need to bring the accused to justice, and for security and stability to prevail in Lebanon in a way that achieves the aspirations of its people.
