Health Ministry announces 150 more COVID-19 recoveries

The Ministry of Health announced yesterday that 150 patients have recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19). That brought the total number of discharged from dedicated treatment centres to 1,718 as of last night.
The Health Ministry also said they had registered 72 new active cases, of which 67 are expatriate workers and five are contacts of active cases. There are now a total of 1,657 active cases, all but one of which are stable.
Meanwhile, the Ministry revealed that 211 individuals have left quarantine centres after completing the necessary quarantine period and undergoing testing to ensure they are free of COVID-19.
The Ministry added that, as of yesterday, 2,040 individuals have exited the quarantine centres. The total tested reached 144,155, as of last night.
