The Tender Board opens 71 tender envelopes for 13 bids submitted by six authorities

The Tenders and Auctions Board, the independent regulatory authority in charge of overseeing government bidding and auctions practices, opened today 71 bids for 13 bids from six banking entities.
 
The committee’s agenda included opening a tender to the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, regarding providing the ministry with 2 Oracle and administrative developers a database to complete and implement technical works related to the central financial system, and 14 bids were received for this tender.

The opening committee opened two tenders for the Electricity and Water Authority, the first tender for the restoration, repair and replacement of external cosmetic columns for the subscriber building building in Juffair. Five bids were received for this tender. The second tender was for supplying water transmission stations, and six bids were received for this tender.

A tender has also been opened for the management of the central warehouses of the Electricity and Water Authority, regarding the purchase of electrical cables, and three bids have been received for this tender.
 
In the aviation sector, the Fateh Committee has opened three bids for a tender for the Bahrain Airport Company, regarding the provision of electric sledges for the transportation of employees at the Bahrain International Airport terminal building.

It has also opened three tenders for Gulf Air, the first tender regarding the appointment of a hotel to set up a hospitality crew for Gulf Air in Bangalore - India, and three bids were received for this tender, while the second tender was on technical support and ground maintenance of aircraft at Malpensa International Airport - Milan Italy, Four bids were received for this tender, and three bids were received for the third tender regarding implementation and supply of the new IATA system (NDC).

Also, 5 bids were opened for Tatweer Petroleum, the first tender for the supply of the pipeline, 12 tenders were received for this tender, and the second tender was for the supply of control valve parts, one tender was received for this tender, and six bids were opened for the supply of the valve Asphyxia, the fourth tender was regarding the supply of compressor parts and a steam recovery unit, three bids were received for this tender, and the fifth tender was on the supply of pipe fitting parts, and eight bids were received for this tender.
 
The bid opening process was attended by a number of representatives of the banking authorities and companies participating in the bids.

The Council pointed out that all bids submitted for tenders are subject to technical and financial evaluation, and the best conditions and the lowest prices will be awarded in accordance with the highest standards of fairness and competitiveness adopted by the Tenders and Auctions Board
