APM Terminals shares begin trading on Bahrain Bourse
Under the trading symbol APMTB, APM Terminals Bahrain was listed on Bahrain Bourse yesterday following a ringing bell ceremony.
The exclusive operator of Bahrain’s Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP), APM Terminals Bahrain opened its offering period for its IPO last month. Since Investors are not subject to any lock-in, they are now able to trade on Bahrain Bourse. However, the founding shareholders cannot sell shares for a period of one year from the listing date on Bahrain Bourse.
Yesterday’s ceremony took place in the presence of Zayed Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and Minister in Charge of Bahrain Bourse, the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain Rasheed Al Maraj, Kamal Ahmed, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, along with CEOs of listed companies and officials of Bahrain Bourse
