Bahrain condemns Bangkok bombing

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to his Thai counterpart Prayut Chan-o-cha on the victims of the heinous terror blast in Bangkok.
HRH the Premier condemned terrorism that contravenes humanitarian values and principles, stressing Bahrain’s full-fledged support to Thailand in its efforts to preserve its security and stability.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the deplorable blast that killed and injured dozens of innocent people.
“The ministry expresses condolences to the bereaved families and to the people and Government of Thailand, and wishes a quick recovery for those injured as a result of these inhumane actions that never respect the value of human life,” the ministry said in a statement.
MoFA confirmed the Kingdom’s support to Thailand in establishing security and safety of citizens, residents and visitors, as well as in the development and progress across the country.
“The ministry reiterates Bahrain’s firm stance that denounces any act against innocent people or leads to destabilization of security and stability of any state or harms its economy,” the statement added.
Royal Thai Government expressed its deep condolence to the victims and families of the tragedy, according to a press release from the Thailand Embassy.
“The perpetrators will be brought to justice”, the statement said, adding that the incident has served to bring the Thai people together as one in condemning this despicable act.
Thailand Embassy also informed that all Bahrainis in Thailand are safe. Meanwhile, Thailand’s Prime Minister expressed deep condolences to the families and relatives of bomb victims, and ordered Ministry of Public Health to provide best possible treatments to the injured.
Maj Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd, Deputy Government Spokesperson, revealed that Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha emphasized that the most immediate and urgent task in the aftermath of Rajprasong bombing was to provide the best possible treatments to the injured.
Ministry of Public Health was ordered to closely monitor and attend to the injured victims with utmost care.
As for the deaths, once the verification has been done, families and relatives would be contacted. Foreign victims would be handled through their respective embassies. The Prime Minister expressed deep condolences to the injured as well as families of the dead victims.
He pledged to take good care of all of those affected by the bombing incident. The Prime Minister also called for the unity of Thai people, and asked not to be wavered from what had happened. The Prime Minster said police and security officers would tirelessly and cautiously work to bring perpetrators to justice.
