Brave 11 completes weigh-ins

Manama : Brave Combat Federation hosted the official weigh-ins at the Ouro Minas Palace Hotel which was presided by Mohammed Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation and MMA Legend and pioneer, Wanderlei Silva. The weigh-ins were conducted after performing the mandatory exams to evaluate the fitness of the competing fighters including MRI of Skull and Magnetic Resonance Angiography. Every fighter who made to the final fight card had cleared the weigh-ins which was followed by face-offs.

The fight night will take place at Terrace, Mineirao Stadium at Belo Horizonte, Brazil from 8 PM UTC-3, 13th April.

Support pours in for athletes from Arab world

Brave Combat Federation will host the eleventh edition of the event as two major athletes from the Arab world are set to compete for the first time in Brazil. 

The event marks for the first time athletes from the Middle East are given an International platform to compete in Brazil. Ahmed Amir from Egypt will be competing in the Lightweight division against Cleiton Silva as Georges Bardawil will face Carlos Soares. 

The initiative has received wide support from the Arab world with organizations and media across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait supporting the athletes. 

“I am humbled to see the support from the Arab world, in Brazil it is not Egypt or Kuwait or Bahrain that I represent but the Arab world. This is the result of years of deication and support from His Highness Sheikh Khalid and we are in Brazil to make history”, said Ahmed Amir preparing for his competition.
