‘I’m proud to represent my nation’

Manama : Jalal Al Daaja, who will be representing the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the tenth edition of Brave Combat Federation, praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises will be hosted in Amman, Jordan at King Hussien Sports City. 

The event marks for the first time an international Mixed Martial Arts promotion is hosted in Jordan. Brave 10 features 24 athletes representing 13 nations. 

Currently training at the Tiger Muay Thai Training Camp in Phuket, Thailand, Jalal said that he is proud to represent his nation at Brave Combat Federation in front of Jordanian crowd. 

He thanked the initiative of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa that made it possible for him to compete before his friends and family. 

“I am delighted to see mixed martial arts return to Jordan in a very big way. This is indeed a major achievement. Brave has more Arab athletes than any other promotion and had changed much in the region. The sport has become more popular and rewarding and this is a great moment when the sport returns to the country that has the most passionate fans of the sport in the region,” added Jalal Al Daaja.

Jalal will face decorated striker and former Bantamweight World Champion of the Philippines, Crisanto Pitpitunge from Team Lakay. Brave 10 also features Abdul Kareem Al Selwady, Jarrah Al Silawi and Nawras Abzakh, who are all set to make a return to Jordan at Brave 10.
