Santiago included in the list of global prospects
Manama : Brave Luan Santiago signed at Brave Combat Federation was included in the list of global prospects for 2018 by “Fighters Only”.
After winning the Brazilian MMA Award for Best Fighter in 2016, Santiago made his promotional debut back in March 2017 with Brave Combat Federation.
He has made two victories in his two appearances for Brave Combat Federation and both by first round knockouts.
“It wasn’t easy for me. I had to move from the city of Salvador, Bahia, where I was born to attend martial arts classes. Worse than that, sometimes I didn’t even have money for transportation. My coach said I had something special, and this aggressiveness made me be where I am now. I see myself on top in 2019, where I belong. The initiatives of Brave Combat Federation under His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has made a significant difference towards the growth of MMA in Brazil,” said Luan.
