Swimming pools to open after BD30,000 revamp
Manama : Public swimming pools in Ain Adhari and Umm Al-Shu’um will reopen tomorrow after undergoing a major BD30,000 revamp programme.
The investment includes new pumps, improved water closets, lights as well as water coolers to improve water quality.
“Four medics will work from 9am to midday and from 3 to 6pm daily, except on Mondays, to clean-up the swimming pools,” said Capital General Secretariat General Director Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, while announcing the opening.
Entry tickets are priced at 500 fils at the Adhari pool and 300 fils at Umm Al-Shu’um pool in Mahooz.
The pools will remain open exclusively to families on Fridays.
