HM’s directive hailed
Manama : Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh and Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed Al Mulla have lauded the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on procedures regulating the rationalisation of public expenditure that it should be based on consensus between the Executive and Legislative.
Shura Chairman expressed appreciation of the considerable Royal support for the legislative branch.
He stressed to continue cooperation with the government led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to achieve sustainable development.
He highlighted the Shura’s keenness to intensify coordination with the Council of Representatives to review the state’s general budget as soon as possible in the interest of citizens.
