HRH Premier to patronise Bahrain Art Expo
Manama : Under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) is launching the 43rd Art Exhibition.
The exhibition which begins on Tuesday, January 17 includes the displaying of 63 artworks, chosen from 158 masterpieces, in addition to 175 artefacts, contributed from artists of Bahrain and worldwide, including paintings, ceramic, sculpture, photography, video and calligraphy.
The exhibition is also open for the public to participate.
Since its inception in 1972 the annual art gallery has been held under the patronage and care of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister as a major cultural event that reflects the innovativeness and creativeness of Bahraini artists.
