Officials buckle down on traffic offenders
Manama : Drivers who ignore their traffic fines and procedures won’t be able to process any traffic-related services, General Directorate of Traffic announced yesterday.
Director of Licencing Affairs asserted in a press statement that the authority will not process their applications unless the applicant ensures the correctness of procedures.
The same is applicable for other services, if the applicant fails to pay any fines imposed.
He said this would help speed up the processing time as currently some of the drivers are delaying the paper work which is affecting the entire system.
The official also called upon the public to cooperate with the General Directorate of Traffic for the general interests of all.
