Women are half of the society and their role is not less important than the role of men, however their role was undermined. Women remained working silently for many years with no rewards and violation of their rights legislated by Allah Almighty and the Almighty primarily and civil rights secondarily.

The commencement of hope for women was and is to this day is the general approval by the General Assembly of Declaration on Elimination of Discrimination against Women in its resolution (2263-D 22) dated November 7, 1967.
