Committed to enhance Bahrain’s investment climate: Industry Minister
Manama: Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani said the government is committed to enhancing the investment climate in Bahrain and highlighted the Kingdom’s well-established reputation as a gateway to the Middle East for global businesses.
The Minister’s remarks came as he visited the Bahrain Investment Centres in Seef Mall and Bait Altujjar, where he briefed employees on the progress of on-going work and the facilities provided for clients.
He noted that a number of initiatives had been implemented to facilitate growth in the private sector, including reforming the processes associated with establishing a business in the Kingdom.
The Minister highlighted that BLIS (Business Licensing Integrated System), a new online system that reduces the amount of time it will take to obtain a CR, eliminates the need for paperwork and integrates all relevant government organisations’ processes under one system.
