RAP concludes training on fighting cyber crime

Under the patronage of Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, Royal Academy of Police (RAP) Commandant Colonel Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa honoured participants in the second training course on fighting cyber crimes.

Organised by the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) in association with the Interpol, the course targeted 24 officers and civilian staff from Bahrain and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. 

The Commandant expressed thanks and appreciation to the Interior Minister for his directives through the adoption of advanced strategy to develop security system, including enhancing the competency of those who fight cyber crimes.

He highlighted the importance of international cooperation in security to exchange experience and learn new methods in facing digital crimes. 

Interpol Representative Abdullah Jassim expressed his appreciation to the RAP for organizing the training, highlighting efforts to increase cooperation to enhance the competencies of brotherly and friendly countries.
