Naval exercise (Union 18) continue with Bahrain
Manama : Activities of the joint GCC naval exercise (Union 18) continue with the participation of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF) alongside GCC and Arab naval forces.
The participating forces have got engaged in the military exercise, kicked off on 6 March 2016, in preparation for the upcoming stages of the exercise.
The exercise, which being held in Bahrain, aims to the exchange of military expertise and raising military efficiency and combat readiness to meet the requirements of the joint military action.
Naval officers from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait stressed that the drill is a key naval exercises in terms of the size of forces involved and the quality of fighting techniques and equipment employed. It also emphasizes the solid military coordination and cooperation among the GCC states.
