Asian woman arrested for carrying forged passport
Manama : Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search & Follow-up at the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Brigadier Yousif bin Ahmed Al Ghatem announced on Wednesday the arrest of an Asian woman at Bahrain International Airport for carrying a forged passport.
The suspect tried to bribe the passport staff at the counter who had discovered the forgery by paying him BD1,300 to facilitate her entry but he refused.
Legal action has been taken in the case which has been referred to the Public Prosecutor.
