Hoax bomb: Man gets 5 years in jail
The High Criminal Court has sentenced a man involved in a hoax bomb to five years behind bars. The Bahraini is said to have placed a fake bomb in the village of Dair on July 31 last year, prompting authorities to send S.W.A.T team to the scene.
The device was a gas cylinder connected with a flashlight as well as a phone charger and three batteries. The defendant’s involvement came to light after his fingerprints were found on the device.
