NAC embodies leadership, people cohesion
Dean of the diplomatic corps, Kuwaiti ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Azam Mubarak Al Sabah said yesterday that the National Action Charter (NAC) in Bahrain embodies cohesion and unity between the leadership and citizens for it is a real translation of national consensus.
Speaking to Kuwaiti News Agency, he stressed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has founded a new approach based on hard work and the modernisation of the State’s authorities and institutions in order to achieve people’s aspirations. He added the public referendum on the charter gained people’s approval by a sweeping majority of 98.4 per cent, which earned the new approach local and international praise. He noted that ever since HM the King’s accession to the throne, Bahrain has witnessed a quality leap in various areas. He also lauded the climate of democracy and freedom in Bahrain.
