Bahrain, China Discuss Expanding Bilateral Cooperation
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King, received outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Ni Ruchi at Riffa Palace on Sunday.
During the meeting, Ambassador Ni Ruchi conveyed greetings from Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman.
HRH Crown Prince, in turn, conveyed the King’s greetings and his own to the Chinese President and Premier.
HRH highlighted the longstanding Bahrain-China relationship and its continued development across various sectors, stressing the importance of further strengthening cooperation to advance shared interests and aspirations.
The meeting also addressed matters of common interest and the latest regional and international developments.
Ambassador Ni Ruchi expressed his appreciation for HRH Prince Salman’s efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, along with several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
