RHF reviews cooperation with Geneva institute

Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Engineer Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, received Dr. Suad Yassin, Secretary-General of the International Arab Institute for Peace and Education in Geneva, at the RHF headquarters.

The two sides also discussed potential cooperation, expertise exchange, training opportunities, and ways to promote specialised international and regional awards supporting humanitarian and educational work.

Shura Chairman congratulates McLaren

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on McLaren’s victory at the Dutch Grand Prix, praising the team’s performance and Bahrain’s continued support for motorsport.

Al Saleh also congratulated HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company. He said the victory reflected continued efforts to support motorsport and strengthen Bahrain’s presence in international competitions.

Tourism Minister highlights women’s progress

Minister of Tourism and Chairperson of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, said the Supreme Council for Women’s Silver Jubilee marks 25 years of institutional efforts supporting Bahraini women’s participation in national development.

Al Sairafi praised the Council, chaired by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, for advancing women’s opportunities across sectors. She highlighted the growing contribution of Bahraini women to tourism, hospitality, events, exhibitions and conferences, and affirmed continued efforts to expand opportunities for leadership and innovation.

SLRB speeds up PRN digital services

The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) has upgraded its subscription and enquiry services for Bahrain’s Positioning Reference Network (PRN), reducing processing time for subscriptions from two working days to one and moving the application process fully online.

The upgraded service also allows users to check application status automatically through the SLRB website, without email enquiries or in-person visits. The number of application steps and required approvals has been reduced, while the enquiry process has also been simplified to improve the user experience.
