Legal Action Against Unlicensed Transport
The General Directorate of Traffic is continuing enforcement campaigns against unlicensed passenger transport activities, in coordination with the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.
The directorate said field inspections are ongoing, and legal action is being taken against violations in accordance with applicable regulations.
The campaigns aim to regulate passenger transport activities and protect users’ rights, while ensuring operators meet the required licensing and regulatory conditions.
The General Directorate of Traffic urged anyone providing passenger transport services for payment to obtain the necessary licences and comply with approved requirements before starting operations.
It said coordination between the relevant authorities will continue, with monitoring and enforcement efforts intensified against violators.
