Strengthening Bahrain–Italy Ties
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today His Excellency Andrea Catalano, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, His Majesty welcomed the Italian Ambassador and reviewed the strong historical partnership between Bahrain and Italy, along with opportunities to strengthen cooperation across various fields.
His Majesty praised the high level of Bahraini-Italian relations and reaffirmed his commitment to further developing and expanding ties in ways that serve the interests of both friendly countries.
His Majesty also commended Ambassador Catalano’s efforts in strengthening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation between Bahrain and Italy.
In recognition of his diplomatic efforts, His Majesty bestowed upon Ambassador Catalano the Order of Bahrain, First Class.
The Italian Ambassador expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for the honour, describing the award as a source of pride. He also praised His Majesty’s efforts to strengthen the longstanding friendship and close cooperation between Bahrain and Italy.
