Finance Minister Receives Book on Bahraini Women's Economic Role

Publication highlights women's contributions to the national economy under HM the King's era

 Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received author and banker Noura Mohammed Al Faihani, who presented him with a copy of her book, "Bahraini Women and the National Economy: From Empowerment to Influence in the Era of His Majesty the King."

During the meeting, the minister said the growing role of Bahraini women across various economic sectors reflects the success of the Kingdom's development approach led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with continued support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He also highlighted the initiatives of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, noting that her efforts have strengthened women's role as active partners in Bahrain's comprehensive economic development.

The minister said research and publications documenting Bahrain's experience in empowering women add valuable knowledge and showcase the country's achievements, particularly in the economic sector. He praised Al Faihani's research and the book's documentation of Bahraini women's contributions to the national economy, wishing her continued success.

For her part, Al Faihani thanked the minister for receiving her and stressed the importance of documenting the achievements of Bahraini women across all fields of national development for future generations.
