Municipal council chairmen welcomed the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture's new unified remote customer service centre, calling it a major step in upgrading public services nationwide.

Capital Municipal Council chairman Saleh Taher Tarada said the single number saves residents time and speeds up field response in the capital. Muharraq's Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Naar said the centre gives residents one window instead of contacting each municipality separately, which is a big help given Muharraq's busy development pipeline.

Northern Municipal Council chairman Dr Sayed Shubbar Al Wedaie said the multi-channel system improves coordination on cleanliness and maintenance across the north. Southern Municipal Council chairman Abdulla Ebrahim Abdullatif said the hotline lets residents track complaints from submission to resolution.

While each governorate highlighted its own priorities—from capital infrastructure to Muharraq's growth and northern maintenance needs—all four chairmen agreed the centre would unify service standards and ease long-standing regional disparities in response times.
