Strengthening Bonds

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar at the Royal Court on Monday, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Indian minister conveyed warm greetings from President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with their best wishes for Bahrain's continued prosperity. His Majesty reciprocated with greetings to India's leadership and people.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed ways to strengthen the historic partnership between the two nations, with His Majesty describing Bahrain-India ties as strategic and deeply rooted in mutual respect, cooperation, and understanding built over decades.

His Majesty also expressed appreciation for India's solidarity with Bahrain in the face of recent Iranian violations, and for India's broader efforts alongside the international community to uphold regional security and global peace.

Talks also covered regional and international developments of mutual concern, including ongoing efforts to consolidate stability across the region.

Minister Jaishankar praised His Majesty's role in advancing bilateral relations across all sectors, expressing gratitude for the warm reception extended to him during his visit.
