Bahrain, UK Discuss Strengthening Longstanding Defence Relations
Lieutenant General Abdulla bin Hassan Al Noaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, received Simon Martin CMG, Chargé d’Affaires of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister welcomed Simon Martin and highlighted the longstanding and close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, Lieutenant General Al Noaimi commended the depth of the historical ties between the two countries, which have developed across various areas over the years.
The meeting reflects the continued engagement between Bahrain and the United Kingdom and the importance placed on maintaining strong bilateral relations, particularly in areas connected to defence and security cooperation.
Lieutenant General Al Noaimi also welcomed continued communication and coordination between the two sides in support of their longstanding partnership.
The meeting was attended by officials from the relevant sides.
