Key stakeholders will discuss legal and practical barriers in enforcing custody decisions

Public Prosecution, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development and the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute, will host a roundtable today, to address challenges in enforcing child visitation and custody rulings.

The discussion, titled “Challenges in Enforcing Child Visitation and Custody Judgments: Between Reality and the Law,” will bring together senior officials, judges, and legal experts to examine practical and legal obstacles affecting the implementation of court decisions.

The roundtable aims to improve coordination between judicial, executive, and social entities while strengthening enforcement mechanisms and ensuring that children's best interests remain the central priority.

Participants will review existing legal frameworks, identify implementation gaps, and explore solutions to enhance compliance with family court rulings.

The event reflects ongoing national efforts to strengthen Bahrain’s family justice system and improve the protection of children affected by custody and visitation disputes.
