The weekly Cabinet meeting, chaired by His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, was held at Gudaibiya Palace, where ministers reviewed national, regional and development priorities.

The Cabinet expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for commending the Government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the successful management of the Ashura season. It praised the coordinated efforts of security, religious and civil institutions, led by the Ministry of Interior.

On regional developments, the Cabinet strongly condemned renewed hostile attacks targeting Bahrain and Kuwait, reaffirming Bahrain's sovereignty and its right to defend its security under international law. It also welcomed GCC-US diplomatic discussions stressing continued unity in addressing regional threats.

The Cabinet approved several key decisions, including Bahrain's contributions to international organisations, a revised MENAFATF anti-money laundering framework, a cooperation agreement between judicial institutes, and the 2026-2030 National Health Strategy.

Infrastructure progress was highlighted with the inauguration of new Ramli electricity transmission stations. The Cabinet also approved shifting meetings to a bi-weekly schedule during July and August 2026.

Reports on Bahrain's diplomatic engagements, including Arab League participation and high-level international visits, were reviewed alongside condolences to Saudi Arabia following a helicopter incident.
