Citizens’ Needs at the Focus

Minister of Interior His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa on Wednesday, during which he reviewed the governorate’s achievements and development initiatives as part of efforts to follow up on the implementation of service projects.

During the meeting, the Minister was briefed on the Southern Governorate’s 2025 annual report, which highlighted key achievements across various development fields, including initiatives and programmes launched to identify citizens’ needs and support the implementation of projects in coordination with relevant government authorities.

The Governor presented the governorate’s approach in responding quickly to citizens’ requirements and strengthening engagement with the community through a strategy based on partnership and cooperation.

General Shaikh Rashid expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Southern Governorate and its commitment to studying citizens’ needs and working with relevant entities to address them.

He wished continued success to all those working to serve the Kingdom and its citizens.

The meeting also discussed a number of topics related to the Southern Governorate’s affairs and the programmes being implemented to enhance services for citizens.
