Bahrain Royal Leads Team to Podium Finish in Morocco

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, took part in the 29th edition of the Lalla Meryem Cup Golf Tournament, held at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the event, His Highness met with His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid. The two held a cordial conversation about the Lalla Meryem Cup, which was staged alongside the 50th edition of the Hassan II Golf Trophy.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad led a team comprising Hamad Al Marzooqi, Moulay Abdullah bin Zidane, and Italian professional golfer Anna Zanusso. The team secured third place in the Pro-Am category, achieving a gross score of -8 for professionals and amateurs.

His Highness praised the Lalla Meryem Cup for establishing itself as one of the leading tournaments in international golf, highlighting the strong technical level of competition and the notable global participation.

He also commended the organizing committee for its efforts in delivering the tournament in an excellent professional and organizational manner.

HH Shaikh Nasser’s participation reflects his continued commitment to golf and his presence in major sporting events, contributing to the exchange of expertise and strengthening sporting ties between athletes from different countries.
