His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, conducted an inspection visit to the Ministry’s Activities Centre in Isa Town to review the ongoing assessment procedures for new students enrolling in Grade 1 for the upcoming academic year 2026–2027.

During the visit, the Minister followed the workflow of the various committees responsible for receiving students and their parents as part of the registration and assessment process for new admissions in government schools.

He also met with a number of parents and listened to their feedback regarding the assessment and registration procedures. The Minister reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to delivering the service with the highest standards of organisation and efficiency, praising the efforts of the Ministry’s staff working under the supervision of the Schools Affairs Sector.

The Minister stressed that the assessment and registration process is a key component of preparations for the new academic year. He noted strong public interest in the process, with more than 10,000 students from across Bahrain applying for admission to Grade 1 in government schools.

The assessment procedures will continue until Monday, June 15, according to pre-booked appointments arranged by parents through the national portal (bahrain.bh). The assessment interviews are considered an essential step in ensuring quality educational services for incoming students.
