Thirty-three Bahraini artists came together at the Alumni Club for the “Love and Loyalty” exhibition, celebrating national identity, unity, and devotion to Bahrain through art.
The exhibition was inaugurated on May 19 in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa and featured a wide range of artistic styles reflecting emotional and cultural connections to the kingdom.
Artist and organiser Bader Al A’ali said the exhibition was inspired by love and loyalty to Bahrain, adding that participating artists were united by a shared sense of patriotism. His artwork, titled “Protector of Bahrain,” portrayed His Majesty the King as a guardian watching over the nation and its people.
Other participating artists highlighted themes of gratitude, unity, and hope for the future. Ali Al Fardan described participation in the exhibition as a national duty, while Ali Y. Ahmadi presented a watercolour work recalling scenes of national unity during the 2011 events at Al-Fatih Square.
Meanwhile, Dr. Zainab Muhammad Nasser used the colours of the Bahraini flag to symbolise peace, love, and unity, saying her work reflected a collective journey towards togetherness.
The exhibition highlighted art's role as a platform for expressing national pride and shared values, with artists reaffirming Bahrain’s place in the hearts and creative expressions of its people.
