Bahrain Speaker Receives Qatari Ambassador
Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives, received Nasser bin Abdulla Al Nasser in Manama to discuss bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation between Bahrain and Qatar.
During the meeting, Al Musallam highlighted the strong and longstanding ties between the two countries, noting the continued growth of relations under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
He also stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between Bahrain’s Council of Representatives and Qatar’s Shura Council in parliamentary and legislative fields to support joint Gulf action and strengthen relations between the two peoples.
The Qatari ambassador praised the steady development of Bahraini-Qatari ties and reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to continued coordination and expanding cooperation across various sectors.
The meeting also reviewed issues of mutual interest and ways to strengthen parliamentary coordination at regional and international forums.
