Bahrain Municipal Cooperation Committee Reviews Development Projects

The Cooperation Committee between the Capital Trustees Board, municipal councils, and government entities held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, with the participation of representatives from government bodies and heads of municipal councils.

During the meeting, the minister stressed the importance of strengthening coordination and integration between government entities and municipal councils to support the efficient implementation of projects and development plans, while improving public services in line with Bahrain’s development goals and the aspirations of citizens and residents.

The committee reviewed a number of current and future projects and plans related to the youth, health, electricity, water, municipalities, and agriculture sectors. Discussions also covered initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, enhancing food security, empowering youth, and supporting sustainable development across various sectors.

The meeting also addressed additional items listed on the committee’s agenda as part of ongoing efforts to support national development objectives.
