It was a day filled with warmth, colour, and little moments of joy at New Millennium School, Bahrain, as Mother’s Day was celebrated on 10 May 2026.
Classrooms turned into creative spaces where students poured their affection into handmade cards and decorated photo frames, each filled with messages of love for their mothers. Laughter and excitement echoed as children carefully crafted gifts, eager to take them home as surprises.
The celebration went beyond art and craft. Teachers shared a simple cupcake recipe with primary students, encouraging them to try baking at home and serve it to their mothers. It was a small idea meant to create a big moment—a shared smile over something made with their own hands.
Throughout the day, the school was alive with colour and emotion, reflecting the quiet but powerful bond between mothers and children. For many students, it became more than an activity; it was a lesson in gratitude, care, and appreciation.
Principal Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma extended heartfelt thanks to mothers everywhere, recognising their love, sacrifices, and role in shaping young lives.
Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Mrs Geeta Pillai also praised the efforts of students and staff, noting how the celebration beautifully captured the spirit of the occasion and sent warm wishes to all mothers.
